WEBSITE LAUNCH PARTY September Community Zoom

Day 1387 on Zepbound | Join me for the Amy 2.0 website launch party as we celebrate the new site, reconnect with the community, share updates, and take a look at what’s ahead!

Our GLP-1 Support Community Has a New Home

Our September website launch party was about more than introducing a website. It was a chance to reconnect, celebrate our progress, and talk about what comes next for our GLP-1 support community.

On day 1,387 of my journey, I gathered with John and members of the Amy 2.0 community for a Zoom celebration. Seeing familiar faces and hearing everyone’s updates reminded me why I wanted to build this space in the first place. Sharing my story matters to me, but getting to hear yours is just as meaningful.

What Amy 2.0 Means to Me

The name Amy 2.0 started with something simple: trying to find an available username. Over time, it became a name that meant much more to me.

It represents a new chapter in my life. That doesn’t mean everything is perfect or that I have everything figured out. It means I’m still learning, making changes, and finding my way forward.

Many of you have been part of that journey for years. You’ve watched the videos, shared your experiences, and encouraged me through different seasons. Some of you even helped inspire the idea of creating this website.

This launch was something we could celebrate together.

A Place to Find Videos and Share Your Story

During the launch party, I walked everyone through the website and the different ways to participate.

One feature I’m excited about is Videos by Topic. Whether you’re starting treatment or navigating maintenance, my hope is that organizing the videos makes it easier to find the conversations that interest you.

There’s also a Tell Us Your Story space. I want to hear about your victories, the things you’ve learned, and what brought you here. Your experience doesn’t have to look like mine to belong in this community.

The comments matter, too. During our Zoom, we talked about how much we’ve learned from one another’s replies. Sometimes another person shares something that helps you feel understood or gives you a useful question to bring to your next appointment.

Different Journeys Belong in Our GLP-1 Support Community

One theme that came through during our celebration was how different our experiences can be.

Some members are working toward their goals. Others are figuring out maintenance. We talked about changing routines, personal challenges, and what it feels like to move into a different stage of the journey.

I value having a place where we can talk honestly about those differences. You don’t need a perfect progress report to join the conversation.

Our community offers personal stories and peer support. Decisions about medication, dosing, and side effects belong with your healthcare team. For an additional educational resource, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases offers a guide to choosing a safe and successful weight-loss program.

Keeping the Conversation Going

The launch party also gave us a chance to discuss future conversations. Maintenance stood out as a topic people wanted to explore further, and I shared my hopes for continuing to connect through community Zoom gatherings.

For me, staying connected means having people to celebrate with and people I can be honest with when things feel harder. That connection is a big part of why I keep sharing.

Thank you for helping make Amy 2.0 a place where we can keep learning together.
