Hi Amy and John! Boy can I relate to the leg crossing thing, although I’m not there quite yet. I wanted to share a little something that happened to me this evening. About three years ago I went to a dinner party at a restaurant and sat on the patio. Unfortunately, I could not fit in the patio chairs. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me and it was horrifying! I had a very kind waiter, who noticed I was struggling and sitting on the edge of my seat. He kindly offered me a different chair. Even though I was embarrassed, I took him up on his kind offer. Tonight , I went back to that restaurant for the first time, completely forgetting about the chair incident. As soon as I remembered, I started to panic then I remembered that I’ve lost 76 pounds so far. We got the patio and I sat in the chair. I actually fit in it, and comfortably. Nobody really knew what was going through my mind, but I was very excited about my small win because to me it felt absolutely huge. I’m sure you can relate to the excitement that I felt, as I could hear it in your post when you could cross your legs comfortably. Thank you for all that you do for us. Sending virtual. Hugs to you both. Have a wonderful week.

Oh Terri, THANK YOU for sharing this with us! You are a wonderful storyteller…. and if anyone is like me, I read the story as if I was going through it personally. I had all the emotions and the lump in my throat. When you remembered you had lost the weight and didn’t have to worry about the chair. Oh goodness, I’ll tear up today just thinking about it 🙂 thrilled for you and for the New you 😉 congrats on all your work and success — and thanks for sharing the super touching non scale victory with us today!

It’s a beautiful two-way street 🙂 I am quite certain I would not have had as smooth as a journey to keeping my weight off, if it wasn’t for the positive energy and connections of our community! I will never forget that month between where I lost all my videos on YouTube and when I started again on Facebook. My food was not in control, I just did not have the same stability, and I didn’t realize how alone it would feel. Super grateful for you and all the ways you encourage me too 🙂 I hope you have a great Thursday!

I’m so glad that John is feeling better and that you were able to get out and do a coastal hike and feel amazing doing it! I totally relate to how much better it feels to move now that we’ve lost weight. One of the reasons I started on Mounjaro is because I have arthritic knees and they would just ache all the time, especially if I did any kind of physical activity. Well just the other day I was out on the golf course and I felt fantastic. This course was an especially hilly one and I was able to walk up and down hills without a bit of pain because I wasn’t carrying an extra 50 pounds. I was also wearing a cute little golf skort and I had that moment of staring at my legs because they just looked so small. And my thighs weren’t rubbing! Such an awesome feeling! Thanks for letting me share and I hope your Texas trip goes well.

Oh Edie! There’s so much to celebrate here! I think we all could picture you in your cute skirt on the course!! And
Good job walking and walking and walking 😉 as those golf courses can really help you get the steps in! Major congrats on all of your nonscale victories — so so happy for you and how so many activities that are just easier to enjoy! It was a very nice trip to Texas and we got back today. Lots of very special time with family and especially nice to get a lot of bonus time and hugs with my grandma! Thanks for sharing some of your life and this happy news with us! ❤️
