  1. You offer some great advice in this video. It is so important to pay attention not only to how much you’re eating but what you’re actually choosing to eat. I’d add that it could help to actually measure the quantities of food you’re putting on your plate because when you just eyeball it, you could end up eating more than you think. And finally, when all else is equal and you are paying attention to all these factors and you’re still stuck on a plateau, try changing your injection site. I’d seen this suggestion several times and kind of scoffed at it because it makes no logical sense that it would take a difference. But when I got stuck for a few weeks in succession, I tried switching from injecting in my stomach to my thigh and it worked! The scale started moving again and I have no idea why it did.

    1. I loved loved loved your advice! I have definitely seen people close to me who have no idea how many calories they are taking in. They sort of generalize and feel like they are not choosing food “as bad as” they used to. But they still don’t have a strong handle on the intake. I’m so glad changing helped you! John did that video on Eli Lilly’s test of how different injection sites affected people side effects. So different people’s bodies react in different ways and thank you for reminding us of that! ◡̈
