  1. My tip for those who are thinking about starting a weight loss drug is to not worry so much about the side effects other people write about. I think we tend to read more of those kinds of comments because people are searching for help. Then there’s an even bigger group of people who have very mild side effects who just kind of keep it quiet because, maybe like me, they don’t want to jinx it. Anyhow, just think about how your body normally tolerates medication and let that be your guide. Be prepared, but don’t be afraid.

    1. Wow, I really like the way you worded that! I am going to repeat a portion of it in our weekly update video this week. Can’t believe it’s Week 74 already 🙂 Thanks so much for the great side effects reminder!

  2. Great Zoom Call !!!!
My journey is very similar to Patricia’s…. My A1C is now at 4.5, Im on MJ 10.0, I have only 1 bad side effect and my recent doctor did tell me to take Miralax daily.
My Tip for a newbie is do not titrate up so quickly. Eli Lilly does state that you can titrate up from dose to dose wafter every 4 weeks, which if you did, in 6 months you would then be at 15 mg and nowhere to go up from there.
As with Patricia, I did 2.5 for 4 weeks, 5.0 for 4 months, 7.5 for 3 months, and now on 10.0 for 2 months.
Looking forward to next month’s Zoom call.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing part of your story, Dave! These types of comments were very helpful for me in the beginning when I was in uncharted territory and trying to make important decisions. My doctor was super nice but did not have a lot of guidance. So I listened to my body, plugged into the GLP-1 community and tried to make the smartest choices I could 🙂 thanks again and have a great Monday!
